My name is Alexandra Auld. The first thing you should know about me is that I have a pretty diverse background. The first years of my life were spent in Columbus, OH. At the age of 8 my family moved to Fort Worth, TX. After graduating from high school at The Oakridge School, I spent two years in Savannah, GA as an interior design major at Savannah College of Art & Design. Topics from this experience such as art history, historical preservation of architecture, astronomy, and the elements of design have had a profound effect on my view of the world.  During this experience however I decided that, while passionate about design, I was more interested in pursuing business for my undergraduate focus. With little warning I transferred across the country yet again to Portland State University in Portland, OR to study Management & Leadership and Human Resource Management. During my time at PSU I learned much not only in the business field but also in environmental studies, agriculture, anthropology, and psychology. My main interests in business studies were that of organizational structures, the process required to change/maintain a company’s culture particularly interests me as it deals directly with interpersonal relationships and attitudes. I have always been intrigued by individual’s motivations and attempt to understand the unique views that are formed by them. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, reading about cognitive biases, playing video games, Do It Yourself  crafting and home improvement, hanging out with my Bull Terrier (Marco), learning new computer skills, and when I have the time road trips are my favorite way to get away from it all and simply enjoy the cruise.
